Knights to the American Castle: Our Trip to the Biltmore Estate Gardens and Antler Village

I wasn’t sure how the knights would do at a castle. They are only 4 and 5, but our middle princess and her suitor are in their twenties. We decided to try just the Gardens and Grounds, which gave us access to the outside of the “house” (I think “castle” is far more accurate), the gardens, the conservatory, more trails than we could manage in a day, and Antler Village with its shops, dining, playground and petting zoo. It was amazing and the boys had lots of opportunities to run, but also opportunities to be good listeners and guests. This is a can’t miss place to visit for every age if you are ever in Western North Carolina.
